HEATING MANTLE INSTRUCTIONS
On opening the packaging please check that
the Mantle is undamaged and that it is the
correct voltage.
Construction:
The mantles are constructed from a coated
steel body with a soft glass fibre mantle.
Insulation is manufactured from compressed
silica and the "ON" status is shown by a
power indicator lamp. In the EAM series
there is an additional stainless steel cover for
both three and six place models.
The DM and CM series also include a steel
temperature probe
Operation:
Place the pre filled flask into the mantle
ensuring the flask is the correct size to give
good thermal conductivity. Smaller flasks
can be placed in to mantles if supported but
will be limited to mainly bottom surface
heating. Plug the unit into the power source
or switch on the power source if already
connected.
In the case of the C series, the mantle will
now
heat
to
approximately
450c
and
