A. CLEANING / DECONTAMINATION
Only instructions drawn up by the people responsible for sterilization in each hospital or health centre must be followed; these instructions will take
precedence over the information contained in this manual, which is provided for guidance only.
Always disconnect the device's electrical socket before cleaning it.
After each use:
• discard disposable sterile tubing; do not try to sterilize it
• clean up any possible splashes of liquid on the insufflator by wiping them with a slightly dampened cloth.
The device must without fail be decontaminated before it is sent to after-sales service.
B. SERVICING / MAINTENANCE
Before 2000 surgeries or before one year of use a maintenance visit will need to be made by the manufacturer alone to ensure efficient and completely
safe functioning.
This maintenance covers all the end-of-production check / inspection points and adjustements, checking of flow measuring system and pressure, inspection and
replacement of the CO2 internal filter.
