5. What to do if something goes wrong

In the case of maintenance/dismantling, the plug must be disconnected from the power sup-
ply, then remove the mouldings around the refrigeration unit, which is then taken out
through the opening. After service is completed, the refrigeration unit is pushed into the
opening again and the mouldings replaced in the same way as described under 3.2 instruc-
tions for installation.
Check the following before you call for service:
FAULT
The refrigerator does not cool
sufficiently.
Light/fan not working.
By checking these points before you call for assistance you help the maintenance personnel
to know which parts they should take with them and which operations they must carry out.
Note the serial number on the information plate and contact an authorised Norcool service.

6. Delivery Conditions

Your supplier will be able to provide information about the delivery conditions that apply to
your Norcool cooler.
Norcool make reservation against any printing errors in these instructions.
CAUSE
1. Thermostat set too warm
2. Room temperature too
high (average temperature
exceeds 27°C).
3. Door not closed
4. Clogged condenser
(ex. dust)
1. Fuses
2. Electrical supply
3. Light tube or starter defect
4. Fan defect

REMEDY
1. Adjust thermostat to
colder.
2a) Reduce temperature in
the room where the refrig-
eration unit is located.
2b) Admit free flowing air
over and under the refrig-
eration unit.
3. Make sure the door is
closed.
4. Remove frontpanel and
clean the condenser.
1. Check fuses.
2. Check contact
3. Change light tube and
starter (see chapter 7.
Figure 3).
4. Replace the fan (to be
done by the maintenance
personnel).
