1. Introduction
We congratulate you on the purchase of your new Norcool refrigeration unit.
Before you start installing it, please read through these instructions carefully. Unpack and
check the refrigeration unit for any damage during transport. In the case of damage, please
be sure to note this on the consignment note/freight bill and contact the retailer.
Take good care of this leaflet as it gives many hints on use and regular maintenance.
Follow the instructions and you will have a functional refrigeration unit for many years!
2. Technical description of the refrigeration unit
2.1 General
The refrigeration unit is to be socket to an earthed contact of at least 13A (connected to the
net on the warm side). The socket must be easily reached for installation/maintenance per-
sonnel. Other authorities may have special installation requirements, e.g. for lighting, and
alarm system.

The thermostat is pre-set at approx. 5ºC.
Allow the refrigeration unit to stand for about 2 hours after installation before connecting
the electricity. This so the oil can collect in the compressor again after transport and
installation.
The refrigeration unit has automatic evaporation of the defrosted water. It also has integrated
lighting (NB! Remember to turn off the light when you leave the cold room).
