• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment during maintenance process. This should include eye protection and gloves.
Manual Cleaning and Lubrication
Handpiece Maintenance
Note: Cleaning and lubrication is required before each sterilization cycle.
1. Remove bur.
2. Detach handpiece from coupler or delivery system.
3. Brio 440 / Brio 440L / Brio 440KL: Fit spray adapter onto universal cap nozzle of approved
lubricant (Fig. 5).
4. Insert spray adapter (Fig. 6) or nozzle (Fig. 7) completely into back of handpiece and hold it
in place.
