6 - MAINTENANCE
Any maintenance work on the electrical parts inside the appliance casing
must be performed exclusively by authorized and suitably skilled
personnel. Note that the appliance carries dangerously high voltage which
represents a hazard if maintenance is performed on the electrical
components without first disconnecting the power supply.
6.1 – Cleaning and lubrication
The appliance does not require particular maintenance with the exception
of regular cleaning of the working area: before cleaning the appliance
always disconnect it from the power supply.
6.1.1 – Changing the grinding disk
To replace the grinding disk proceed as follows:
a) disconnect the appliance from the electrical power supply;
b) remove the disk guard by unscrewing the four screws at the rear (3,
Fig. 1) using the 4 mm Allen key supplied with the appliance;
c) immobilize the motor shaft at the rear (4, Fig. 1) using the 6 mm Allen
key supplied with the appliance, and then unscrew the screw at the
front of the appliance using an M 13 wrench;
d) remove the worn grinding disk (10, Fig. 2) (the grinding disk can also
be inverted so that the rear face can be used), fit the new disk or invert
the original one and tighten the screw at the front while holding the
motor shaft with the Allen key; refit the disk guard.
