Introduction
Thank you for choosing LANAFORM®'s HOME AIR FILTER. Because of its unique design, this appliance can effectively
purify the air and combat symptoms of allergy. With a large production of anions (negative ions) per second, this unit
eliminates smoke and particles, like pollen and dust, that are present in the air. It has a multi-layer filtering kit located at
the center of the air filter, and two ultraviolet lamps that break down harmful chemical gases and eradicate dangerous
bacteria.
The action of the air filter continually supplies pure, clear air, ridding your environment and that of your loved ones of «
intruders » as it improves your quality of living.

Important security instructions

• Always put the home air filter on a sturdy, flat, solid surface 30 cm away from the walls.
• Keep the air filter away from sources of heat such as stoves, furnaces, radiators or other heating appliances.
• Keep the purifier away from sources of high humidity, to avoid any risk of electric shock.
• To let fresh air circulate normally, do not install the air filter in a draft.
• Do not install the air filter near a window where the curtains or drapes could cover the plug or the air vent.
• Do not leave the air filter near curtains that could hinder the normal ventilation of air.
• Check that the electric power supply complies with requirements as concerns voltage.
• Keep the air filter in a place out of the reach of children. Do not let children play with the air filter.
• Before using the air filter, unroll the cord and check for any sign of deterioration. Do not use the product if the cord is
damaged.
• Do not plug the cord (back) in with wet hands.
• Avoid obstructing the air vents in any way. This could damage the appliance and might cause a fire. Avoid placing the
appliance on a soft surface like a bed or a couch, due to the risk of obstructing the ventilation system. Regularly remove
lint, hair, etc.
• If the room is airtight, ventilate it from time to time, or if it includes sources of heat like an open fire or a water heater.
This appliance does not protect users from carbon monoxide poisoning if the gas installation is defective.
• Never disassemble the appliance yourself, you might damage it and you would invalidate your guarantee.
• Refrain from using any appliance with a damaged cord or plug. If you observe this kind of damage or if the appliance
has been damaged in any other way, return it to your dealer for repair or modification.
• If you perceive a suspicious odor when the appliance is in normal operation, turn it off, unplug it and take it to your
dealer.
• Unplug the appliance from the power supply before cleaning it or moving it.
• Turn the appliance off before unplugging it.
