Dear Customer, the following safety instructions are intended not only for the protection of the
device but also for the protection of your health. Please read through the following points atten-
tively:
• The unauthorized conversion and/or modification of the product is inadmissible for safety and
approval reasons (CE).
• The design of this product complies with safety class I. The only permissible voltage source is
a standard mains socket (220-240 V / 50/60 Hz) of the public supply network with an earthing
contact.
• Never touch the mains plug when your hands are wet.
• Make sure the mains cable is not squashed, bent, damaged by sharp edges or otherwise
subjected to mechanical strain. Avoid excessive thermal stress on the mains cable through
extreme heat or cold. Do not modify the mains cable. Otherwise, the mains cable could be
damaged. A damaged mains cable can cause a deadly electric shock.
• If the mains cable has been damaged, do not touch it. First, cut off the power supply to the
relevant mains socket (e.g. via the circuit breaker) and then pull the mains plug carefully out of
the mains socket. Do not use the product anymore and take it to a specialised workshop.
• All persons operating, installing, setting up, commissioning or servicing this fog machine must
be trained and qualified correspondingly and observe these operating instructions.
• The device must be disconnected from mains voltage when not in use. Pull the mains plug. If
you cannot access the mains plug, e.g. due to its place of installation, you have to disconnect
all poles from the mains.
• Consult an expert when in doubt as to the operation, the safety or the connection of the device.
• This product is not a toy and should be kept out of the reach of children! Children cannot judge
the dangers involved when handling electrical devices. Keep the device out of the reach of
children.
• Do not place any containers containing fluids, e.g. glasses, buckets, vases or plants, anywhere
near the product. Liquids could get into the device and impair the electrical safety. There is
also a great risk of fire or a fatal electric shock! If this is the case, first de-energize the re-
spective socket (e.g. switch off circuit breaker) and then pull the mains cable from the socket.
Disconnect all cables from the device. After that, the product must no longer be used; take it to
a specialist workshop.
• Do not expose the device to high temperatures, dripping or splashing water, strong vibrations
or heavy mechanical stress.
