Do not allow children to play with the iron.
•
Cleaning and maintenance performed by the user must not be performed by unsupervised
children. If it is connected to a power socket or if it is cooling down, keep the iron and its power
cord out of reach of children younger than 8 years of age.
Do not leave a hot iron within reach of children. If they come into contact with a hot iron it could

lead to serious burns.
Do not leave the iron unattended while it is plugged into the power outlet.

When placed on its support, make sure that the surface on which the support stands is stable.
•
The iron must be used and rested on a stable surface.
•
During breaks in ironing, leave the appliance in the vertical position.
•
Never leave the hot iron on textiles or materials which could burn easily.
•
Iron only on an ironing board.

An iron takes approximately 30 minutes to cool down. Allow the iron to cool completely before
•
storing.
Do not wind the cord around the soleplate while the iron is still hot

Danger of electric shock or fire!
Do not use the iron if it has been dropped or shows visible signs of damage. It will have to be

checked by an Authorized Technical Service Centre before it can be used again.
Never rest the iron on the electrical connection cable.
