Location of the threaded fasteners
Fitting kit
- 2 M5 threaded fasteners
- 2 Ø6 plastic washers
- 6 BHc 5x10 screws
- 6 M5 nuts
- 1 metallic number plate support
Assembly
- Remove both saddles and the original rear fairing.
- Disconnect the plate lighting and the indicators.
- Place the threaded fasteners on the fitting brackets of the rear fairing (see photo).
- Fit the metallic plate support on the undertray with 4 BHc 5x10 screws, 4 Ø5 plastic washers and 4 M5 nuts.
- Connect the indicators and the plate lighting.
- Fit the undertray at the middle thanks to 2 BHc 6x30 screws, 2 M6 nuts and Ø6 washers, by inserting the plastic
spacers between the original undertray and the provided one.
- Drill the original undertray through the provided one at the level of the 2 side holes and fit them together thanks to the
BHc 5x10 screws, the Ø5 washers and the remaining M5 nuts.
- Replace the rear fairing and both saddles, and then fit the undertray on the rear fairing with 2 BHc 6x30 screws, 2 Ø6
washers and the threaded fasteners already fitted on the rear fairing.
- Fit the number plate on its support. It is advised to check the slope of the number plate before assembly, and if
necessary, fold the plate metal support so as to preserve a slope in the standards (do not fold the metal support
while fitted on the ABS piece).
* Painted and varnished parts are not guaranteed against high pressure steam washes or aggressive cleaning products which can damage them and unstuck the varnish. We advise moreover, according to the technical data of
our painting suppliers, to wait one month to obtain a complete polymerization of varnish.
* Accessories gone up on the motorbike will not be any more considered as new and will be neither retaken nor exchanged.
* Ermax accessories are foreseen for original equipments. They will not be guaranteed if they are used in others conditions.
* Due to vehicules made tolerances, beyond our control, some Ermax products might need adjustings to fit.
* Any deterioration of the parts due to the presence of any excessive load in the undertray will not be guaranteed.
* A few tyres, as Dunlop D207 or Michelin Pilot Power, not being for the given dimensions, are not compatible with undertray and rear hugger made for original tyres in standard dimensions.
* Aluminium screws are garanted until 6 Nm by our suppliers. Care to excessive clampings which may damage or break screws.
Ermax undertray and rear hugger are compatible.
