17. TROUBLESHOOTING
PROBLEM
The appliance does not turn on.
Does not dispense steam
Steam does not come out and
the cap won't unscrew
The appliance is pressurized
but little steam comes out.
Accessories are difficult to as-
semble.
PROBLEM
FrescoVapor perfume is not re-
leased when using steam.
Steam too damp using
FrescoVapor.
FrescoVapor has been to inser-
ted into the boiler.

CAUSE
No power.
Out of water
Steam lock activated
The boiler is not yet pres-
surised.
Steam hose trapped or
twisted
Steam button broken.
Steam adjustment dial set
to the minimum.
The seals produce friction.
ONLY FOR SMART_AIRPLUS
CAUSE
FrescoVapor knob regula-
tion in OFF position
Please check the Fresco-
vapor level.
The steam is mixing with
FrescoVapor.

SOLUTION
Check that the appliance has
been
disconnected
mains, as indicated in Section 1.
Add water to the boiler as de-
scribed in Chapter 12.
Deactivate the steam lock on the
handle
Wait until the steam indicator li-
ght comes on.
Check that the steam hose is not
trapped or twisted.
Take the appliance to an Authori-
sed Service Centre.
Adjust the position of the dial for
the desired increase.
Lubricate the seals with silicone
grease or Vaseline, or alternati-
vely with a small amount of ve-
getable oil.
SOLUTION
Turn the FrescoVapor regulation
knob in min or max regulation.
Fill the Frescovapor tank.
Reduce the quantity of Fresco-
Vapor as desired, to reduce the
humidity of the steam.
Take it to Authorized Service
