and protective cover (8).

• The flap opening should now be pointing to
the operating side of the food processor –
you can mount the protective cover (8)
turned through 180 degrees, however.
• The protective cover (8) is to prevent ingredients spattering out as well as for
general protection/safety.
• To make your work easier, there is a flap opening on the protective cover (8) which
can be used to add further ingredients during the mixing process without having to
remove the protective cover (8).
WARNING: Do not add ingredients by hand through the opened flap
during the mixing process. Keep your hands away from the flap opening
during operation. Do not push spatulas or any other kitchen aids
through the flap opening during operation. When adding ingredients
through the flap opening, switch the machine off briefly.

• Make sure the plug has been removed from the mains. Set the speed regulator (2)
to 0 (off).
