Extended playback functions – for experienced users

Activate the Bluetooth
®
(BT) function of your Bluetooth audio source ("ON").
Power-ON BADOO with the volume knob (10). Press on the Zzz/Bluetooth
®
button (4, blue) for
more than 4 seconds, until BADOO shows a blue flashing LED to confirm the activation of its
BT function.
First, the LED flashes blue slowly. BADOO's BT now tries to re-coinnect with the previous BT
source. If your source was previously connecte dto BADOO by BT, the BT connection will be re-
established instantly again.
If there is no previous BT source available, BADOO changes to quick blue flashing which means
search for a new BT source. New BT sources can be connected just within the first 2 minutes in
this mode!
Now start the BT search function of your BT source device. After a moment, "BADOO" will
appear in the BT listing of your BT source device. Select "BADOO" for connection (pairing) now.
Once the pairing has proceeded, BADOO will confirm the BT connection by static blue
indication. The Bluetooth connection is now protected against foreign BT sources!
In case of interruption of a BT connection through interference or too far distance, the playback
is muted and the blue indication will flash quickly again. Once the BT source can be received
again, the BT playback will continue.
Please note, the usage of the BT function with BADOO gives you flexibility and comfort,
but the BT function also requires a little higher energy from the battery, the playback time
of the battery will be a little shorter.
To deactivate the BT function, select any other playback category and playback a stored content
or power-OFF the device by turning the volume knob fully counterclockwise.
Line-In playback
Power-ON BADOO by the volume knob (10). Connect the audio input (backpanel, 3,5mm stereo
phono socket) (12) with your audio source (headphones or line output). Once BADOO
recognizes the plug in the line-in socket (12) it changes to Line playback. The playback functions
of BADOO's control buttonswill be deactivated as long as the 3.5mm line input plug is inserted.
To finish the Line-In playback remove the 3.5mm plug from Line-In socket (12) or switch OFF the
device by turning the volume knob (10) fully counterclockwise.
