Playback functions for USB stick contents

Power ON the device with the volume control (10) by turning the control clockwise
away from its power-off position. Chose a middle position setting.
2.
Select the playback contens: once you pressed one of the category buttons (1 / 2)
music or audiobook, the previous played track in this category will be started just from
the position, where the user has left it before. This can ensure even long tracks or
stories can be continued step by step easily without starting from the beginning.

To listen to the latest "recording" track, press the recordings button (3).

With the Play/Pause (6) button the playback can be stopped or continued.

The buttons skip back (7) or skip forward (8) jump to the next track in the currently
selected category. When pushing the button for a longer time, the time position in the
current track is returned or forwarded. With this function, you can playback a just
played passage again or skip a passage, without re-starting the complete track.
Recording functions

The button REC (9) starts the microphone recording. Once the red operation LED
lights continous, all will be recorded, what is recognized by the built-in microphone (5).

The recording can be interrupted by short pressing the Play/Pause (6) button (red
blinking LED) and will be continued by another short press on the Play/Pause button.

To finish a recording press on the REC button (9) again, the LED will flash and the
device expects the new selection of a playback or recording function.

To do another recording, push the Play/Pause (6) button while red LED is flashing.
To directly playback the just finished recording, simply press the category button for recordings
(3).
For recordings, the last recording will be memorized instead of a playback position.
Sleep function
By a short press on the button Zzz (4) the sleep function will be activated or deactivated. Once
the sleep function is activated, very slow red blinking indicates it. Playback will be continued but
gradually the playback volume reduces lowr and lower, within 30 minutes, and then stopped.
By pressing the sleep button (4) again – or by power-OFF withthe volume knob (10) the sleep
function will be de-activated.
After the child has fallen asleep, please switch off the device with the volume button (10) to
maintain the battery charge!
