Cabinet
The cabinet is made from rigid bamboo wood, the surface is treated by wax and oil and does not
contain any separable laquer.
Bamboo is a natural product. Caused by the natural fibres material, there can be changing
textures and colour gradients. We have no influence on these material properties of the natural
fibres. These properties do not constitute grounds for complaint.
When placing the device on sensitive surfaces, pressure points or discoloration may be caused
by the case or case feet. Please note this to avoid damage.
Handle
The handle is made from flexible, high quality silicone material. It can be removed by pulling its
screwholes on each side over the the retention pin's head.
For re-installation of the handle place the handle's screwhole below the retention pin, hold the
handle's end and pull a little, to slip the handle over the pin head. The handle then will return to
its original size and shape.
Preparation for operation
Rechargeable battery
BADOO incorporates a powerful rechageable Lithium-Ion battery, which can allow many hours
of operation thanks to its high capacity. The battery (15) is placed below BADOO's removable
backcover.
Before first operation, we recommend to recharge the battery. Connect a power supply (USB
charging power supply or PC USB power) by the provided charging cable to BADOO's DC
socket (14) on the backside. During the charging procedure, the red chrging control LED will
light (13). Once the red charging control shuts off, the charging is finished.
BADOO can be operated during the charging procedure.
If the playback is stopped during operation and the operation LED starts flashing, the battery is
empty and requires new charging in the next time.
It is not required to discharge the battery before new charging. It is not a benefit for the battery
lifetime always to keep the battery fully charged. Also partial charging is ok and no disadvantage
for battery lifetime.
If you need to replace the battery, remove the battery plug (16) from its terminal and remove the
holders in front of the battery. After replacement fix the battery tightly by the holders again and
push the battery plug well in the battery terminal.
