7.5 BENCH LATHE
The piece to be cut can easily be fastened as shown:
1. Raise and turn the screw (A) "half a thread" in the
direction of the arrow - (Fig. 15).

2. Remove the crank handle (C) - (Fig. 16) - in the
direction of the arrow to insert the piece to be cut in
the opening (D) - (Fig. 16).

3. Place the piece to be cut (F) and turn the crank handle
in the direction of the arrow -(Fig. 17) - until the front
face of the bench lathe is in contact (E) with the piece
to be cut (F).
4. Raise and again turn "half a thread" (G) - (Fig. 18) - to
attach the screw. Press the crank handle of the screw
so that the piece to be cut is firmly fastened to the
bench lathe - (Fig. 18).
