DDNS Confi guration The main purpose of a
dynamic domain name server (DDNS) is to re-
place the global IP address of your camera (e.g.
86.133.324.28) with a domain name (e.g. ath-
ome.dyndns.tv), to make it easier to remember.
It is even more advisable to use this type of
service if your router has a dynamic IP address
(which changes regularly). To fi nd out if your
router has a static or dynamic IP address, con-
sult your Internet service provider. Subscribing
to certain DDNS services is simple and free.

DDNS Service: Select a DDNS service from the list given.
DDNS User: Enter the name of the user you have created.
DDNS password: Password of the account created under
the selected DDNS server.
DDNS Domain name: Enter the domain name you have
created. This is the name of the domain you created when
subscribing to the selected DDNS service.
DDNS or Proxy server: Proxy server. A proxy server is a
computer server which relays requests between a client
workstation and a server. In most cases, you do not need
to fi ll in this fi eld.
DDNS or Proxy port: Proxy server port. In most cases, you
do not need to fi ll in this fi eld.
Activate the movement detector: Check the box to acti-
vate the camera's movement detection
Detector sensitivity Defi ne the detection sensitivity from 1
to 10 (10: minimum sensitivity,
1: maximum sensitivity).
Activate the alarm entry: Tick the box to activate the in-
coming alarm via the terminal block at the rear
of the camera (5 Fig.3). the camera's alarm function is trig-
gered using a dry contact via terminals 3 and 4. (the trigger
level manages the type of contact, closed or open)
Activate the IO link if there is an alarm: Tick the box to
activate the output "contact" via the terminal block at the
rear of the camera (5 Fig.3). When this option is active the
camera changes the dry contact status on terminals 1 and
2. (the trigger level manages the type of contact, closed or
open)
Pre-defi ned camera position: used to select the camera po-
sition if there is an alarm
email sent if there is an alarm *: Tick the box to send an
email in the event of an alarm.
Image sent in the event of an alarm: Tick the box to send an
image to the FTP server if there is an alarm
Whether to start alarm sound : not used
Alarm activation time: set to 30 seconds
Planning: Tick the box to display the weekly schedule.
By ticking the boxes (which turn blue) the alarm settings
will be applied according to the defi ned schedule.
