8. CUE-BUTTON
Pause-mode:
In the pause-mode, you can cue by pressing and holding the Cue-button. As soon as you let the Cue-button
loose, the player returns to the track-start.
Playback-mode:
If you press the Cue-button during playback, the player returns to the position where the playback started and
goes into Pause-mode.
Please refer to the explanations under 6.8 Cueing.
9. PLAY/PAUSE-BUTTON
With the Play/Pause-button, you can start the playback and stop it again. Please refer to the explanations
under 6.4 Play/Pause.
10. TIME/RANDOM-BUTTON
Switching the time-display:
While playback of a track the display shows the remaining track time.
Press this button and the display shows the track-playback time.
Activating the random-playback:
If you press and hold the TIME/RANDOM-button for 2 seconds, the random-playback is activated (the display
shows RANDOM). The CD-players selects and plays the tracks randomly until you cancel the random-mode.
11. DISC-BUTTONS
Press the left or the right DISC-button (green LED shines) in order to select the desired track by the
keyboard.
12. KEYBOARD
For convenient track-selection.
13. RELAY-BUTTON
By pressing the RELAY-button, the playback automatically switches to the other player after every track.
14. AUTO/NOR-BUTTON
With this button, you can select between the playback-modes AUTO and NORMAL. After turning on, the
player is in AUTO-mode (the display shows AUTO). In this mode, the player automatically plays the second
track after the first one has finished.
By pressing the AUTO/NOR-button, you switch the player to the NORMAL mode (the display shows
NORMAL). In this mode, the player goes in the pause mode after the end of the first track.
15. PITCH-BUTTON
Press the Pitch-button (green LED shines) in order to adjust the playback speed by +/- 12 % via the
Pitchfader.
16. PITCHFADER
You can adjust the desired speed with the Pitchfader after pressing the Pitch-button. The display shows the
current percentage. If the Pitch-button is not pressed, any adjustment on the Pitchfader will have no effect.
17. LOOP/PITCH BEND-JOYSTICK
Via this joystick you can program the loop-function and temporarily change the playback speed.
Temporarily change the playback speed:
When you turn the joystick to the right, you can temporarily change the playback speed by +4 %.
When you turn the joystick to the left, you can temporarily change the playback speed by -4 %.
Programming the loop-function:
Memorizing the Loop In-point
The Loop In-point can be memorized in the Pause-mode and in the Playback-mode, respectively.
Select the Loop In-point with the Jog-dial (Pause-mode) or directly during playback (Loop In-LED illuminated).
By pulling the joystick down, you can memorize the current position (Loop In-LED flashes).
Memorizing the Loop Out-point
The Loop Out-point can be memorized in the Pause-mode and in the Playback-mode, respectively.
