Seasoning
The cooking surface will become seasoned with normal use.
If desired, the cooking surface can be seasoned with peanut
or vegetable oil.
To "season" the surface:
Turn unit on to HI and allow the surface to heat for 15

minutes.
Turn unit OFF and immediately apply 2 tablespoons

of oil to the surface.
(30 ml)
Add 2 tablespoons
(30 g)

oil into the surface using a folded paper towel or cloth
under a handled utensil.
Wipe salt and excess oil off and allow the surface to cool

completely.
Repeat as desired to increase the non-stick properties of
5
the surface.
