Installation
For using the W800 radio buoy is necessary to follow the below steps:
Register your radio buoy; this operation can be made by the
•
dealer/distributor or by sending an email directly to Wamblee
(info@wamblee.it), you should specify the radio buoy code (1)
shown on the the longline latch tab and the customer code that
you received during the first registration (if you are a new
customer you need to ask the customer code).
As soon as you receive the necessary information you will also
•
receive a personal authorization code which will be used for the
correct reception of the signal by the radio buoy (please refer to
the instruction of the software called W830 Data Manager for
entering the authorization code).
Make the installation of the fixing bracket W850 (8) on the vessel
•
in a free zone, which does not block passing. For the installation
we suggest you to use the 4 holes on the rear side of the bracket.
Install the W840 module (battery charger) next to the fixing
•
brackets. A single W840 battery charger module can be used - not
at the same time - for different W800 radio buoys.
You can install the W855 counterweights using the appropriate
•
lockable plug. (11 & 12)

It is possible to install the antenna on the radio buoy by following
the steps indicated at points (2), (3) and (4), that is screw +
antenna + washer + wing nut. Tighten them well by hand. In case
of limited space on board, it is possible to install the antenna even
a few moments before launching the radio buoy into the sea.
Your W800 radio buoy is ready to be used.
