For installations on flat surfaces, respect the following grade of inclinations:
LATITUDE
0 ° .. 43 °
43 °.. 54 °
54 °.. 65 °
For installations on tilting roofs, if it is not possible to recreate the installation similar to the flat surface (FIG_04-7), always
use the inclination A-A
When installing more than one appliance on a flat surface, minimum distances must be respected to avoid shaded areas
(FIG. 04-8).

CONNECTION
Connect cold inlet and hot outlet to the existing system. It is advisable to also connect the safety valve exhaust combined
with a drain well to avoid that any hot water escaping due to an intervention may cause damage or dangerous situations
It is advisable to connect, where possible, the hot water outlet of the incoming appliance to a possible producer of hot
water (boiler, water heater, fireplace, etc.): this gives the possibility to recover all the solar energy and to have available a
better integration with the existing system (FIG_04-9).
Always install the solar panel as close as possible to the point of use, to avoid unnecessary dispersion. If the solar panel
is used in public places, it is advisable to install a dispenser to rationalize the consumption of water, as well as a
thermostatic mixer.
The entrance of the pipes in the house must be resistant to penetration of rain and condensation: make sure
that the pipes connecting the appliance that exit from the house are made in such a way as to be resistant against rain
and condensation to avoid annoying infiltrations that should to ruin the walls of the house.
It is advisable to properly insulate the hot and cold water pipes that arrive and depart from the panel to avoid
freezing in cold seasons.
The recommended cross-section of the connection pipes is 1/2 "(Ø 20). If the panel is installed very far from the point of
use, a section of 3/4 "pipes (Ø 25) is recommended.
To prevent emptying of the system in the event that mains water is not present, a non-return valve (not supplied
with the appliance) must be installed upstream of the inlet connection. For the correct functioning of the valve as well as
for the validity of the guarantee, the aforementioned non-return valve must in no way be insulated, obstructed or covered.

ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
In the DT11 and DT12 models there is an electrical resistance already mounted in the appliance (FIG_04-10) ,. The user
must prepare or have a qualified bipolar power supply socket fitted to the ground, after a switch-disconnected with a key
(or equivalent disconnection system). Power 1,200 W, rated voltage = 230 V
All components must be CE marked (or equivalent in the country of installation), compliant with
regulations in force and correctly installed and connected.
The power supply line must be protected with a differential relay that interrupts the power supply
electric in case of contact to the earth of the system.
If the electrical supply system does not comply with the above requirements and, in any case, as not provided for by the
relevant regulations in the country of installation, the electrical resistance must not be used. For the DT01 and DT02
models there is the possibility of subsequently purchasing the electric kit

COMMISSIONING
Before filling, carry out a cleaning and rinsing operation to remove dirt and other residues.
Perform the cleaning operation only if the atmospheric conditions do not present a risk of freezing. In the same way, do
not clean in direct irradiation conditions.
