PROTECTIVE AND SAFETY MEASURES

1. Protection against overvoltage and undervoltage
If the power supply is too high or too low, the induction hotplate automatically
compensates for the voltage and adapts its output power.
2. Protection against small metal pieces
If a small piece of metal with a diameter less than 80 mm is placed on the appliance,
it will not switch on in order to avoid abnormal heating.
3. Protection against empty operations and the use of unsuitable cooking vessels
If no cooking vessel is placed on the cooking area, if the cooking vessel is completely
misaligned with the cooking area or if the cooking vessel material is unsuitable, the
appliance will not turn on and will sound an alarm until an appropriate cooking
vessel is positioned on the hotplate correctly.
4. Protection against overheating
If the hotplate temperature gets too high, the appliance will automatically shut off
and will sound an alarm until the temperature returns to normal.
5. Protection against power surges
If there is a sudden and substantial increase in the power supply whilst the appliance
is in use (due to lightning, for example), the appliance will automatically shut off and
will turn back on again after one minute.

1. Suitable cooking vessels
Flat-bottomed pots/pans made from stainless steel, enamelled iron, cast iron or steel,
with a base diameter measuring 12-18.5 cm.

Pots/pans made from aluminium, copper, ceramic or heat-resistant glass. Round
