USAGE

1. Plug the power cord into a suitable electricity mains socket. The appliance will beep
once, the screen and all lights will turn on for 0.5 sec, and then they will turn on.
"- - - -" will be displayed to show that the appliance is switched on.
2. Place a cooking vessel in the centre of the cooking area. Press the ON/OFF button
and the digital screen will display "0 0 0 0". Press the ON/OFF button again.
The appliance will beep once and the screen will display "- - - -" to indicate it has
returned to standby mode. Within the next 5 seconds, press the FUNCTION
button once to enter HEATING mode. The fan will turn on. The default power
level is 1200 W, which you can adjust with the "+" and "-" buttons. If you do not
place a cooking vessel on the hot plate, the appliance will beep once every 1.5
seconds. The appliance will switch itself off automatically after 60 sec.
3. Press the FUNCTION button again to adjust the keep warm function. The default
temperature is 200°C, which you can adjust with the "+" and "-" buttons. When
the temperature reaches the default value, the appliance will automatically enter
protection mode.
Note: You can restart the function at any time during use by pressing the
FUNCTION button.
4. In heating or keep warm mode, you can adjust the length of time before the
appliance will automatically switch off by pressing the TIMER button.
1). Once you have set the duration, the display will alternate between then power
level and duration. You can adjust the power level using the "+" and "-" buttons.
2). Once you have set the duration, adjust the temperature using the "+" and "-"
buttons. The display will alternate between the temperature and duration.
Note: When the automatic shutdown timer is activated, you can switch the appliance
off manually by pressing the ON/OFF button. After turning the appliance off, the
settings for the automatic shutdown timer will be deleted and will not be saved for
the next time you use the hotplate.
5. Once the set duration is up, the appliance will switch off automatically and all the
lights will turn off.
Note: You can turn the appliance off at any time by pressing the ON/OFF button.
Once cooking has finished, the internal fan will remain on for 30 seconds.
6. When cooking is finished, unplug the power cord from the mains socket.
7. The heating mode of this appliance does not allow users to boil oil or fry food in
oil.

OPERATING PRINCIPLE

The induction hotplate works using a coiled inductor placed under the ceramic glass
surface, which generates an alternating magnetic field when an alternating electrical
current is passed through it. When a cooking vessel with a metallic base is placed
on the hotplate, it interrupts the alternating magnetic field, thereby inducing an
electrical current in the metallic base of the cooking vessel. This electrical current
causes the iron atoms to move erratically at high speeds, leading to collisions and
friction that rapidly causes the metallic base to heat up, and thus cook the food
inside.

THE BENEFITS OF INDUCTION

1. Compatible with a wide range of power supplies: This appliance is able to
automatically regulate its power depending on the power supply from the mains,
which avoids problems linked to voltage fluctuations.
2. Ideal safety features: The appliance is equipped with safety measures to protect
against overvoltage, undervoltage, and sudden voltage changes. These measures
have no impact on the user's ability to quickly and precisely heat the hotplate to
the desired cooking temperature.
3. Precise and effective protection against empty operations and the use of unsuitable
cooking vessels: The appliance can check that the size and material of the cooking
vessel are suitable. When you remove the cooking vessel, the heating element turns
off immediately and the appliance switches off completely after 10 sec. Whether
you remove the cooking vessel quickly or slowly does not damage the induction
plate.
4. Self-check at start-up and automatic shutdown after 2 h: The appliance can
check that it is functioning and being used correctly. If the induction plate is not
used for a prolonged length of time, it will think it has been forgotten and will
automatically switch off after 2 h, making it safer.
5. Precise power and temperature adjustments: Quick and easy adjustments and the
temperature control compensation function give the user precise control over the
cooking temperature.
