only according to the EN 957-1/6 HB. Warranty and
manufacture's liability do not extend to any product or
damage to the product caused by commercial use.
• The heart rate sensor is not a medical device. Due to
various factors it is possible that the heart rate shown

mate heart rate, is merely intended as an aid during
exercise.
• Do not forget to click the safety clip to one of your gar-
ments while exercising.
• Remember that you can increase or reduce the inten-
sity of exercise by using the computer (see computer
manual).

to wear out.
• Replace any defective part immediately and avoid
using the equipment until it is in perfect condition
once again.
• We recommend that you occasionally lubricate the
moving parts to avoid premature wear.
• Make regular checks that the nuts and screws are pro-
perly tightened.
• Lubricate the treadmill regularly.
• Bear in mind that sweat is corrosive. Do not let it come
into contact with the equipment.
• To clean the equipment, use a sponge dampened with
water.
• The safety level of the equipment can only be maintai-
ned if it is regularly inspected.

HEALTH AND SAFETY

The user is responsible for any risk of injury that may
arise from the use of this equipment. Risks may be mini-
mised by following these rules:
• To use this equipment safety, it must be connected to a
properly grounded plug.
• To reduce the risk of electrical shock, unplug the equip-
ment from the mains immediately after use and before
cleaning.
• Install the equipment on a clean, flat surface, leaving
at least 1 metre of clearance around it. Do not use the
equipment near water or outdoors.
• Keep children and pets away from the equipment.
Never leave a child near the equipment without adult
supervision.
• The equipment must not bear loads of more than 110 kg.
• Always wear suitable sports clothing and footwear.
• This equipment is not designed to be used for
treatment purposes.
• This equipment is designed for domestic use and the
manufacturer therefore accepts no liability for other
types of use (gyms, sports clubs, etc.).
• In the event of dizziness, nausea, chest pain or any
other unusual symptoms, stop exercising immediately
and consult your doctor.
• Never hold your breath while exercising.
Never start an exercise programme without
consulting
your doctor if you suffer or have suffered any physical
problem.
• Do not exercise 30-60 minutes before or after a meal.
• Before starting any exercise programme, it is impor-
tant to take your age and physical fitness level into
account. If you have a sedentary lifestyle, it is essential
for you to consult your doctor to be able to determine
the exercise intensity level correctly. Do not expect to
reach maximum training levels in the first few sessions.
You should start each session with a gradual warm-up
lasting 3-5 minutes. This is particularly advisable if you
are over 50 years of age. Start with a gradual warm-up
and then lower the intensity towards the end. If you
start the session with a very high rhythm, you run the
risk of tiring very quickly and suffering injury.
• Disabled or handicapped persons should not use this
equipment without the supervision of a healthcare
specialist or qualified doctor.
• People responsible for children should be particularly
aware of their responsibility since a child's natural ins-
tinct for play and their tendency to experiment could
lead to situations and behaviour for which this training
equipment is not intended.
• If children are allowed to use the equipment, their
mental and physical levels should be taken into ac-
count, as well as their temperament. They should be
monitored and informed about the appropriate use of
the equipment. This equipment is not considered sui-
table as a child's plaything under any circumstances.
In the continuous aim of improvement, the manufac-
turer reserves the right to make any alteration that it
considers suitable both to the equipment and to the
instruction manual.
PLEASE NOTE
Do not allow children to insert their hands into the
moving parts of the equipment. Read the instruction
manual to avoid any accidents.
