The batteries of the remote control contain substances that may pollute the environment. Do
not throw away batteries with the normal household waste, but dispose of them at an official
collection point for batteries. Always remove the batteries of the remote control before you
discard and hand in the appliance at an official collection point (Fig. 47).

only) or turn the filter-cleaning handle (specific
types only) to clean the filter cylinder.
Select a higher suction power setting.
Clean the filter cylinder (see chapter 'Cleaning
and maintenance').
Clean or replace the filters (see chapter 'Cleaning
and maintenance').
