The contaminants or other substances removed or reduced by this water treatment device are not necessarily in all
users' water. Do not use with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate
disinfection before or after the system. Systems that are certified for cyst reduction may be used on disinfected
water that may contain filterable cysts. Individuals requiring water of specific microbiological purity should consult
their physician.
The Delta 210 Series processes approximately 100 gallons/378 liters. When the filter cartridge exceeds
filtering capacity, replacement is essential for the product to perform as represented. In the United States,
replacement filters generally costs $19.99 each or less. Replacement filters may be purchased at most
retail outlets. The performance of the filter may vary based on local water conditions.
Hot water should not be used with the water filtration system as it will affect the filter's performance
(maximum 100°F/38°C – minimum 34°F/1°C).
Refer to the Owners Manual for general unit operation and maintenance requirements. This system has
been tested and conforms to NSF/ANSI Standards 42 and 53 for reduction of the substances listed on
the next page. The concentration of the indicated substances in water entering the system was reduced
to a concentration less than or equal to the permissible limit for water leaving the system, as specified in
NSF/ANSI Standards 42 and 53. The system complies with ASME A112.18.1 and CSA B125.
