Troubleshooting for Kitchen Faucet
If faucet leaks from under handle:
DO NOT tighten the cap assembly. Remove handle and
tighten adjusting ring (1).
If leak persists–SHUT OFF WATER SUPPLIES.
Replace Ball Assembly (2)–Repair Kit RP70
and Cam & Packing (3) – Repair Kit RP61.
If faucet leaks from spout outlet:
SHUT OFF WATER SUPPLIES.
Replace Ball Assembly (2)–Repair Kit RP70 and Seats
& Springs (4)–Repair Kit RP4993.
If faucet exhibits very low flow
A. Remove and clean Aerator (5), or
B. SHUT OFF WATER SUPPLIES. Clean Seat and
Spring (4) of any debris.
If spray attachment does not function properly:
SHUT OFF WATER SUPPLIES.
Remove Diverter Assembly (6) and clean.
If condition persists–
SHUT OFF WATER SUPPLIES.
Replace Diverter Assembly (6) – Repair Kit RP320
If faucet leaks from base of spout:
SHUT OFF WATER SUPPLIES. Remove spout and
replace Spout O-Rings (7)–Repair Kit RP25.
Troubleshooting for Filter System
If filter unit leaks:
A. Check hose connections-retighten if necessary.
B. Check lower housing gasket (1) - RP42343 &
upper housing quad-ring (2) - RP42670 for
proper installation and/or damage.
Replace if necessary.
If leak appears in upper housing (3) but not at
hose connections:
Remove filter unit and call 1-800-345-DELTA.
If light indicator doesn't work:
A. Check batteries (4) and proper installation.
See below for battery replacement.
B. Check lightpipe (5) for proper installation and/or
damage. If damaged call 1-800-345-DELTA
If faucet leaks from spout outlet:
A. SHUT OFF WATER SUPPLIES-
Replace seat and spring (6) - RP4993 or
B. SHUT OFF WATER SUPPLIES-
Replace stem unit (7) - RP1740.
C. Activate the vent feature (refer to page 10 step B).
If faucet exhibits low water flow:
Replace the filter cartridge (8). Remember, the
condition of your water may cause the filter
cartridge to fill before the filter monitor indicates
the cartridge
is full.
