Warning:
Thoroughly inspect the mower for any damage, and repair the damage before restarting and
operating the mower. Excessive vibration of the mower during operation is an indication of
damage. The unit should be promptly inspected and repaired.
SLOPE OPERATION
Warning:
which can result in severe injury. Operating the mower on a slope requires extra caution. if
you feel uneasy on a slope, do not mow it. For your safety, do not attempt to mow slopes
greater than 15 degrees.
Mow across the face of slopes, not up and down. exercise extreme caution when changing direction on slopes.
Watch for holes, ruts, rocks, hidden objects, or bumps that may cause a slip or a trip. Tall grass can hide obstacles.
Always be sure of your footing. If you feel like you are losing your balance, release the blade/motor control handle
immediately. The blade will stop rotating within a few seconds.
Do not mow near drop-offs, ditches, or embankments, because you could lose your footing or balance.
Do not mow a slope that has an angle of greater than 15°, as determined using the slope gauge.
Do not mow wet or damp grass. Unstable footing can cause slipping.
EMPTYING THE GRASS BAG (FIG 9)
Stop the mower and allow blades to completely stop.
Remove the safety key and the battery packs.
lift the rear discharge cover.
lift the grass bag by its handle to remove from mower.
empty grass clippings.
lift the rear discharge cover and reinstall the grass bag.
Reinstall the battery packs and the safety key when you
are ready to mow.
CHARGING THE BATTERY (FIG 10)
NOTE:
always Check that the power supply corresponds to the
voltage on the ratings plate.
• Plug the charger (1) into a 120 Volt aC power source. The green light
(3) will illuminate for 5 seconds, then the light will go off if no battery
pack is in the charger.
• Slide the battery (2) all the way into the charger until it locks in place
with a click, as shown in fIG 10. The flashing green light indicates
that the battery is charging. a solid green indicates the battery is fully
charged.
• a flashing red light (4) indicates the battery temperature is too high to
be charged. Wait for the battery to cool down to start the charging.
• a solid red light indicates the battery is damaged and will never be
charged.
• Batteries may become warm while charging. This is normal.
• If battery is hot after continuous use in the product, allow it to cool down to room temperature before charging. This
will extend the life of your batteries.
NOTE:
It takes approximately 75 minutes to charge up a completely discharged battery.
OPERATION
if you strike a foreign object, stop the motor and remove the battery.
