Button Programming

9.2.1
Overview
Button programming, via the [+] and [–]
buttons at the rear of the knee, provides an
alternative way to program the device in
the event of the programming app being
unavailable.
There are four limb adjustment/calibration
procedures that can be carried out using
button programming:
• Yield adjustment, via Yield Adjust mode
(LED illuminates red)
• Stance release calibration, via Stance
Release Calibration mode (LED illuminates
blue)
• Walk calibration, via Walk Calibration mode
(LED illuminates yellow)
• Foot calibration, via Foot Calibration mode
(LED illuminates purple)
Note... There is also a Factory Reset mode
available via a separate button-programming
mode for resetting all parameters to the factory
default settings.

The program is in two separate parts:
• Button-programming mode for calibration/
adjustment.
• Button-programming mode for factory
reset.
Note... Each part can only be accessed by a
specific sequence of button presses.
The button-press sequences for accessing
the Button-programming mode for
calibration/adjustment and carrying out all
four calibration/adjustment procedures are
shown in Flow Diagram A on page 24 and
described in Section 9.2.3 on page 25.
The button-press sequences for accessing the
Button-programming mode for factory reset
and carrying out a factory reset are shown in
Flow Diagram B on page 27 and described
in Section 9.2.4 on page 27.
