Cleaning of solenoid valve

Two solenoid valves are located on the facility.
One of them opens the filter backflushing, the
other one the drinking water backfeed. If one of
the two solenoid valves does not close prop-
erly, it must be cleaned or if necessary re-
placed.
When currentless, the solenoid
valves are closed!
1. Pump_pressure must be on "off".
2. Close the shut-off valve to the consumers
or on the drinking water backfeed.
3. Remove coil with cubic plug (bayonet
catch).
4. Unscrew the four screws on the mounting
plate (as a rule using a torx wrench).
5. Tilt the mounting plate with the coil shaft
downwards and detach from the valve.
Note!: A core is tucked into the
coil shaft, behind which a core
compression spring is located.
This spring may on no account be
lost!
6. Pull out the diaphragm gasket using long-
nosed pliers.
7. Check the diaphragm and the valve inside
for contaminations and clean.
8. Reassemble the solenoid valve.
When assembling the coil shaft,
check whether the core compres-
sion spring is still in its place!
9. Open shut-off valve
10. Check the solenoid valve's correct function.
If the solenoid valve does not function smoothly
even after repeated cleaning, it must be re-
placed.
