3. INSTALLATION

The MC-377+ level meter is designed for use as a portable device. A carrying case
is supplied to simplify transport and to allow the user to take measurements
conveniently during the installation of the antenna.

3.1 Operating on the electrical mains supply

Although the device was designed for use as portable equipment, it can also
operate when connected to the mains power supply. Connect the device to the mains
and press the start switch I/O [3]. The level meter is now in operation and the battery
will recharge slowly.
