BEFORE INITIAL START-UP
Read the safety instructions and the manual before use! Check the infrared heating element for visible damage and whether the
mains voltage is in accordance with the voltage information on the type plate (backside). If you notice damages on the element, do
not use it - contact your specialist dealer.
We recommend you not to throw away the original package of the device. Store the original package for possible transport.
START-UP
The infrared heating element must be installed according to the following installation instructions, connected to the electric net and
controlled with an EU-compliant control.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Before you mount a heating, you have to secure the carrying capacity (structural analysis)! You can find the weight of each panel on the
cover of the instruction manual. Do NOT mount glass- or mirror heatings on the ceiling! It is advised to ask a second person for help.
If you mount the heating on the ceiling read the additionally attached installation instructions carefully!
Check if the supplied screw anchors are suitable for the existing building structure. The holding and fixing material provided is suitable for
brick or stone walls. On other types of wall or masonry (as e.g. Rigips, wood,..) please use suitable holding and fixing material.
If you hit reinforcement steel in the ceiling while drilling, then deflect the drill. The panel should be repositioned to re-align all the holes.
Thread the dowels into the holes, fix the screws in them and mount the heating. Attention: 20mm difference by locking in place!
After mounting the panel, please check if ALL screws are exactly inserted into the brackets. You can take a mirror for places which are
difficult to access.
After checking that all the screws are in the brackets, you can tighten the screws equally.
No assembly for all mobile heating elements (standing models, pillars etc.) – they can be plugged into a socket and are ready for operation.
The heating elements may not be moved by pulling the power cable. The heating element should only be moved by taking the whole
column. ATTENTION: Allow the device to cool down before you move it!
The Redwell Manufaktur takes no responsibility and liability for any damages resulting from the negligence by installation.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS PANELWAVE
Due to the high temperature, the heating must be installed in an height, outside the
contract area (at least 1,8 m). Assemble the heating element in the guiding rail of the
mineral fibre grid ceiling. Mount the cable stationary - don't forget the temperature control
device! We recommand to use a thermal ribbon to minimize the warmth transport from
the heating panel to the rail construction. The loop on the backside of the heating panel has
to be fixed on the ceiling by a steel rope or chain (see fig. 1)!
DO NOT COVER THE HEATING ELEMENT WITH ANY OBJECTS AS
WELL AS WITH INSULATING MATERIALS!
