Waste electrical and electronic
equipment must be separated
from general waste and disposed
of. It can be disposed of at dedicat-
ed local waste disposal points like
municipal recycling centres.
Batteries
The batteries of the Genius smoke
alarm are integrated and cannot
be removed. The devices including
integrated battery can be disposed
of at all dedicated local waste
collection points like municipal
recycling centres.
Separate collection of waste
equipment is required for disposal
of hazardous substances in
compliance with environmental
protection regulations, recycling of
material and possible reuse.
Any incorrectly disposed-of
batteries are a danger to health
and nature.
