Place the iPad Air in the groove on the keyboard.

Turn on the power by pushing the On/Off Switch to the right.
The Bluetooth Status Indicator Light turns on for 3 seconds, then starts blinking and
becomes discoverable.

On your iPad, tap Settings.

Open Bluetooth and make sure Bluetooth is on.

The iPad will scan for new devices.
