Fitting instructions
1) Disassemble the bumper and the buffer beam and loosen the exhaust in the rear.
2) Place the tow bar with the points (A) on the 2 provided drillings in the body work plate in the rear, place
the reinforcement corners (i) and (j) with points (A) against the front of the body work plate and with
point (C) against the underside of the trunk. Insert the bolts and nuts by (A) but do not tighten yet. Drill
points (B) through with ø10,5mm.
3) Bring the mounting pieces (g) and (h) in the trunk with points (B) on the drilled holes in the rear plate,
insert the bolts and nuts but do not tighten. Drill afterwards points (C) and (C') through with ø10,5mm.
Insert by (C) the bolts, washers and nuts. Place the washers at the bottom of the base plate. Tighten
everything firmly.
4) Points (C') match the drillings in the reinforcement corners (i) and (j), insert the bolts and screw
everything tight.
5) Remove the fixing point of the bumper which is welded in the middle of the buffer beam and replace the
buffer beam.
6) Make an incision in the middle of the bumper of 60mm broad and 60mm measured as from the lower
edge. Replace the bumper.
7) Assemble (*) and tighten firmly.

Note
Please consult your cardealer or owners manual for the maximal permissable towing mass.
Remove any bitumen coating on the fastening position for the tow bar.
When drilling, be carefull not to damage any brake lines, electrical wiring or fuel lines.
