Do not misuse the connector plug cable for anything
other than its intended purpose, e.g. for carrying or
pulling the garment or for unplugging the battery. Keep
the cable away from oil, sharp objects or moving com-
ponents. Do not kink the cable. A damaged heating ele-
ment or a damaged connector plug cable causes the gar-
ment to malfunction and increases the risk of electric
shock or fire.
The garment is not waterproof. Intrusion of water in-
creases the risk of electric shock. If the garment does get
wet, immediately unplug the battery and remove it from
the battery adapter.
Do not fold up a garment which has been heated up, and
do not store any objects on top of it. A damaged heating
element or a damaged connector plug cable causes the
garment to malfunction and increases the risk of electric
shock or fire.
Carefully observe the care and cleaning instructions of
the garment. Insufficient care poses a danger of electric
shock or fire.
Leave the garment to cool down completely before you
store it.
Check at regular intervals whether the garment is
showing signs of wear or damage. If such signs are pre-
sent or if the garment has been used improperly, do not
use the garment again and return it to the retailer.
Have your garment serviced only by a qualified repair
person using only identical replacement parts. This will
ensure that the safety of the garment is maintained.
Safety warnings for dealing with batteries
Do not open the battery. Danger of short-circuiting.
Protect the battery against heat, e. g., against
continuous intense sunlight, fire, water, and mois-
ture. Danger of explosion.
When battery pack is not in use, keep it away from oth-
er metal objects like paper clips, coins, keys, nails,
screws, or other small metal objects that can make a
connection from one terminal to another. Shorting the
battery terminals together may cause burns or a fire.
Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected from
the battery; avoid contact. If contact accidentally oc-
curs, flush with water. If liquid contacts eyes, addition-
ally seek medical help. Liquid ejected from the battery
may cause irritations or burns.
In case of damage and improper use of the battery, va-
pours may be emitted. Ventilate the area and seek
medical help in case of complaints. The vapours can irri-
tate the respiratory system.
Recharge only with the charger specified by the manu-
facturer. A charger that is suitable for one type of battery
pack may create a risk of fire when used with another bat-
tery pack.
Use the battery only together with your Bosch product.
This is the only way to protect the battery against danger-
ous overload.

nails or screwdrivers or by force applied externally. An
internal short circuit can occur and the battery can burn,
smoke, explode or overheat.
Do not plug the battery into the battery adapter if the
unlocking buttons are broken or faulty. The battery may
fall out during operation.
