EN Proper use
The machine is designed for mixing liquid and
powder-based building products such as paints,
mortar, adhesives, plaster and similar substances.
Use the right mixing tool for the consistency of the
material and the quantity to be mixed.
Please refer to the information in the technical data
when choosing the size of mixing tool (diameter/
mixing action). If the wrong mixing action or
mixing tool diameter is selected, this may cause
the machine/gear unit to become overloaded and
lead to damage as a result. Please remember that
a mixing tool with a mixing action from the top
down puts a greater strain on the electrical tool
than one with the reverse mixing action.
This electrical tool is not designed for use in
continuous operation.
Given the high torque levels generated by the
machine, it must not be used as a power drill.
The machine must not be used for the preparation
of foodstuffs.
The machine is not suitable for mixing materials
containing graphite dust, brine or slurry. Mixing
of these materials or substances may damage the
machine beyond repair.
Assembly
Screw the HEXAFIX coupling enclosed with the
packaging onto the agitator shaft's 5/8" external
thread.
Insert the mixer with HEXAFIX holder shaft into
the coupling until it snaps into place.
To remove or change the mixer, just pull the sleeve
on the coupling and the mixer will be released.
Keep the HEXAFIX coupling clean and grease it
from time to time. This maintains its functionality.
Operation
Always hold the machine with two hands.
Switching on
Press the button for the switch-on lock (1). The
switch is unlocked.
1.
2.
Press the ON / OFF button
(2).
The more firmly the ON /
OFF switch is pressed, the
faster the machine runs.
The ON / OFF switch cannot
be locked!
It is best to work with the
ON / OFF switch fully depressed at all times.
Switching off
Release the ON / OFF switch to finish the work.
Prevent accidental start-up: always switch the
machine off if the battery pack is removed from
the machine.
Work at a reduced speed when immersing the
machine into or removing it from the mix. Once
the machine has been fully immersed, increase
the speed to the maximum so that sufficient
motor cooling is guaranteed.
Guide the machine through the mixing vessel dur-
ing the mixing process. Mix until all the mix has
been completely worked through. Observe the
material manufacturer's processing instructions.
The tougher the mixture, the higher the torque
forces acting on the machine; prepare yourself for
this during work.
Recoil may occur if the running mixer comes into
contact with a surface (e.g. base of the bucket).
Battery pack
Charge the battery pack before use. Recharge the
battery pack if the performance drops.
The ideal storage temperature is between 10°C
and 30°C.
If the battery capacity has been depleted, the
machine remains at a standstill. Re-insert a fully
charged battery.
"Li-Power" Li-ion battery packs have a capacity
and signal indicator (11):
Press the button (10) and the charge status is indi-
cated using the LED lights.
If an LED light flashes, the battery pack is almost
flat and must be recharged.
Removing / inserting the battery pack
Removing: Press the button for the battery pack
unlocking mechanism (3) and pull the battery pack
(6) forwards and out.
Inserting: Slide the battery pack (6) on until it
snaps into place.
Fault:
Overload protection: The machine was switched
off automatically. The device is too hot!
Leave the machine idling until it has cooled down.
