Turn the control knob to steaming position.
● The steaming light lights up orange to indicate that the appliance is steaming.

Switch off the appliance after 5-6 min of steaming and unplug it.

Pour the used solution of vinegar (8% acetic acid) and water out of the water tank (Fig. 24).

Rinse the water tank and the jar thoroughly with fresh water several times.

Fill the tank with 200ml water and let the appliance complete a steaming process of
20 minutes with the empty jar before you use the appliance with food again.

Leave the lid of the filling opening open to prevent bacterial growth.
Recycling

Do not throw away the product with the normal household waste at the end of its life, but
hand it in at an official collection point for recycling. By doing this, you help to preserve the
environment (Fig. 25).

Follow your country's rules for the separate collection of electrical and electronic products.
Correct disposal helps prevent negative consequences for the environment and human health.
Storage

Empty the water tank before you store the appliance (Fig. 24).

Make sure all parts are clean and dry before you store the appliance (see chapter 'Cleaning
and maintenance').

Store the appliance with the blade unit in the jar to prevent damage.

Do not place the lid on the jar and leave the lid of the filling opening open to avoid bacterial
growth.
