Status signal contacts/door contacts
!
If holding magnets or panic door releases
3150 are used, it is necessary to install an
external door contact in the door element.
By means of this contact, the escape
door control system is informed that the
corresponding escape door is closed, in
order to ensure effective locking.
If the escape door release 331 RR AK RR
is used as the door locking element, no
additional door contact is required, since
the monitoring contact for the door status
(door open/closed) is built into the escape
door release.
This set of switching contacts activates a
signal as soon as the lock keep has
engaged the door release.
A further set of switching contacts, built into the
escape door release locking elements
(excluding holding magnets 827), ensures that
the door locking function has effectively been
carried out.
This signal is activated by a Hall-effect element
in the case of holding magnets or by an armature
contact in the panic release and in the escape
door release and is directed to the escape door
control unit for evaluation.
