Do not point the camcorder at the sun or other sources of intense light. Doing so could
damage your eyesight.

Never activate the flash near the eyes of persons or animals. This is especially
dangerous for children. The flash is dangerous to the eyesight. When using the flash,
stand at least one metre (3 feet) away from your subject.

Only use the charger cradle supplied or the USB interface cable to recharge the
battery pack of the device.

Only operate this device with the battery pack supplied in order to avoid overheating,
deformation of the casing, fire, electric shocks, explosion and other hazards.

Before opening the battery/memory card compartment and/or the ports cover, wait
for the camcorder to dry completely. Have an absorbent cloth ready when opening the
covers and remove any water and dirt around the covers.
