5. STRAIGHTENING
• Wash your hair and dry it well. Your hair must be
clean and completely dry before using the
straightening irons.
• Fine hair reacts particularly quickly to the treatment.
Continuous use on permed hair is not
recommended.
• Wrap a towel around your neck to protect yourself
against the heat.
• Brush your hair to remove any tangles. Comb your
hair out straight.
• Work your hair layer by layer, using clips to hold the
layers you are not working on. Straighten the bottom
layers before the top ones.
• Divide the hair up into sections and work section by
section. Put a section between the plates, close the
straightening irons and slide it from the roots to the
ends.
• The width of a section (from side to side) should not
exceed two thirds of the length of the plates. It must
not be more than 5 mm thick.
• Do not use force, the straightening irons must hold
the hair gently, not pressing it.
• Do not leave the straightening irons still in the same
place for more than 2 seconds.
• Let the straightened hair cool down before brushing.
