- To avoid that could be used a hook that is not suitable for the purpose or not
TOPTETHER, TOPTETHER hook is usually marked by the label in the car with the
following logo:
ATTENTION: Car-seat must always be installed forward-facing only on seats equipped with
IsoFix and TOPTETHER connectors.
Do not use without TOPTETHER. The TOPTETHER is essential for a complete safety
guarantee.
Group 2 e 3 Fixing (from 15 to 36 Kg – from 3 to 12 years about).
- Car-seat must be installed using IsoFix fixing and 3-points car belts (Fig. 1 B).
- Car-seat must be installed only on seats with 3-points safety belts with diagonal and lap
belts, static or with winders, on front seats or rear passenger seats. It can not be installed
on seats with only the diagonal or two anchor points belt (Fig. 2).
CORRECT POSITIONING INTO CAR
"FORMULA-FIX" can be installed on front, both on rear seat of the car. It can NOT be
placed on OPPOSITE-facing or SIDE-facing direction seats (Fig. 3). If you put it on the front
seat, place car-seat as far as possible from the dashboard. However, the optimum and
safer location for your car-seat is the REAR seats, specially the rear seat, on the opposite
side to the driver.
Install "FORMULA-FIX" only on seats correctly fixed to car frame and forward-facing
direction. Folding or rotating seats not properly fixed are a source of danger in case of
accident.
If car's headrest creates obstacles or difficulties in assembling car-seat, we suggest you
turn it up or remove it.
OPERATING OF ISOFIX SYSTEM
To activate IsoFix system, pull the IsoFix handle positioning (6) (Fig. 4A); IsoFix hooking (8)
will come out automatically (Fig. 4). To retract hooking, keep pulling the handle and push
hookings inward, and then release the handle.
