To release the belts, press the red button on the central buckle (5) of leg-pad (Fig. 17), pull
out belts from buckle (Fig. 18) and well open belts between them (Fig. 19).
Let your baby fit into car-seat, placing well harness on shoulders and waist of your baby.
Check that buckle and crotch-pad are well coated on the child's body (Fig. 20).
Double check that car-seat belts ARE NOT TWISTED OR ROLLED!
To close belts, bring side buckles tabs near and join them (Fig. 21), put them in the crotch-
bar buckle well to the end (CLICK) (Fig. 22). After fixing belts, pull the adjustment strap (10)
towards you so as to snugly fit harness to the baby's body (Fig. 23). Always make sure your
child is sitting with the body close to car-seat and with crotch-bar correctly placed.
ADAPTOR PILLOW REMOVING
"FORMULA-FIX" is equipped with an adaptor pillow to use when your child is small. When
baby grows it's recommended to remove it.
GROUP 2 AND 3 USING
WARNING: FORMULA-FIX car-seat, when used in group 2 and 3 version, that is, for
children from 15 to 36 kg, must be secured with the IsoFix system and only on seats
equipped with 3-points safety belts with diagonal and lap belts, static or with winders, on
front seats or rear passenger seats. It can not be installed on seats with only the diagonal
or two anchor points belt (Fig. 1B).
It can NOT be placed on OPPOSITE-facing or SIDE-facing direction seats (Fig. 3).
In this version, child will use belts of the car and not those of car-seat. To remove them, you
should either remove car-seat or place it as far away from the back of the seat. First
unhook TOPTETHER fixing system, loosening the belt by pressing the release button on
the buckle (Fig. 24). Unlock the hook from the TOPTETHER system, pull and keep pulled
IsoFix handle positioning (6) (Fig. 7A) and remove car-seat from the back of the seat.
If in this position it is difficult to operate behind car-seat, we recommend to release it from
the car. Push IsoFix release button (15) on both sides, until total release (Fig. 25). The
indicator (16) will turn red. Lift the bag with inside TOPTETHER fixing system (Fig. 5); hold
belt positioner (14), pull and keep it pulled (Fig. 26) to pull the shoulder pads out from the
metal pins (Fig. 27).
To extract belts (Fig. 28) bring one and pull it out from the metal bracket (13) (Fig. 29) and
then the other (Fig. 30). Now tighten belts out to the front side so as to let them fully pass
on the front of car-seat backrest (Fig. 31).
