Starting and Stopping

Starting the unit

When starting the unit, observe the precautions described from Page 4 in the section "For safe use of your product"
to ensure that you operate the product correctly.
Failure to observe the precautions could cause an accident or injury, or even lead to a fatality.

1. Turn on the power switch of the backpack battery. The LED
indicator light is lit for a few seconds.
2. Shoulder the backpack battery.
3. Start the unit according to the procedure of the operator's
manual of the ECHO rechargeable power tool that you use.
1. Stop the unit according to the procedure of the operator's
manual of the ECHO rechargeable power tool that you are
using.
2. Unshoulder the backpack battery.
3. Turn off the power switch of the backpack battery.
∗ If the unit won't stop even when the main switch of the Echo
rechargeable power tool and the power switch of the backpack
battery are turned off, unplug the adapter from the power tool
to stop power supply. Before using it again, contact an author-
ized ECHO dealer for repair.
