Battery Pack Safety Warnings
It is important to adhere to the following information
and warnings.
Always read and understand the operator's manual of
the ECHO RECHARGEABLE POWER TOOL used with
this battery pack.
Do not open, crush, heat above 60ºC or incinerate. It can
pose a hazard of fire, explosion, or burn.
Follow all safety instructions.
Use only this battery pack with ECHO RECHARGEABLE
POWER TOOL.
Charge the battery pack before use.
Never attempt to charge or use a defective, damaged or
deformed battery pack.
Store the battery pack out of the reach of children.
Secure the unit against unintentional startup.
Remove the adapter before transporting or storing the
unit.
Protect from rain.
Never soak in fluids.
Avoid direct sunlight, heat and open flames.
Use and store the battery pack only in temperature
range between -10ºC and +40ºC.
Do not expose the battery pack to microwaves or high
pressure.
Never insert objects in the cooling slots of the battery
pack and adapter.

malfunction resulting from a modification to the product will
not be covered by the manufacturer's warranty.

and maintained
You must not use the product unless it has been
checked and maintained. Always ensure that the prod-
uct is checked and maintained on a regular basis.
Failure to do so could lead to an accident or serious injury.
For safe use of your product
WARNING
Never bridge (short circuit) the battery pack and adapter
contacts with metallic objects since the battery pack
may get damaged.
While not in use, a battery pack should be kept away
from metal objects (e.g. jewellery, nails, coins).
Do not carry a battery pack in a metal container.
Fluid may leak from the battery pack if it is damaged or
not used properly; avoid contact with the skin, since it
can cause skin irritation and severe chemical burns. In
the event of accidental contact, wash the affected areas
of skin with plenty of water and soap. If fluid gets in the
eyes, do not rub. Rinse the eyes with plenty of water for
at least 15 minutes. Also seek medical assistance.
DO NOT solder on battery pack.
DO NOT reverse battery polarity or terminals.
DO NOT reverse charge or reverse connect battery.
Keep battery clear of flammable debris.
Do not make a strong impact on the battery, or hit it with
a hard object.
Stop using the battery when an unusual incident hap-
pens, such as foul smell and heat generation, while us-
ing, recharging, or storing it. There is a risk of explosion
or firing.
Pack the battery tightly during transportation to prevent
the battery from moving.
Do not wipe the battery with gasoline or chemicals.
When the power cable is broken, turn off the power
switch immediately and contact your dealer for repair.

Loaning or assigning your product
When loaning your product to another party, ensure
that the person borrowing the product receives the op-
erator's manual along with it.
If you assign your product to another party, please en-
close the operator's manual with the product when
handing it over.
Failure to do so could lead to an accident or serious injury.
Being prepared in case of an injury
In the unlikely event of an accident or injury, please ensure
that you are prepared.
First aid kit
Towels and wipes (to stop any bleeding)
Whistle or mobile phone (for calling outside help)
If you are unable to perform first aid or call for outside help,
the injury could worsen.
