Mount the electric security lock 809M

1 Screw the electric security lock 809M into place in the lock pocket.
2 Fasten the lock escutcheons.
3 Test the electric security lock 809M for ease of movement.
 The electric security lock 809M is ready for operation with the mounted striking plate.

Mounting the striking plate

1 Finish the striking pocket and all drilled holes ("Solid leaf striking plate", page 56 and "High-security
striking plate", page 59).
2 Clean the striking plate pocket and all drilled holes by blowing them out or vacuuming.
3 Screw the matching locking into place for the electric security lock 809M to be installed.
4 Test the electric security lock 809M for ease of movement.
 The electric security lock 809M is ready for operation.

Mounting escutcheons and locking cylinders

1 Remount the escutcheons.
2 Place the lock cylinder in, and keep in mind that the cylinder's locking nose is in the middle position (Pic. 10).
3 Fix the locking cylinder into place with the Cylinder fixing screw.
 The electric security lock 809M is now fully mounted.

Testing the electric security lock 809M

1 Test all functions of the electric security lock 809M.
2 Check whether the latch and auxiliary latch bolt of the lock are pushed back by the same impact edge.
3 Check whether all bolts can freely extend and retract without transverse shear stress after installation (Pic. 7).
 The electric security lock 809M is fully mounted and tested for functionality.
