Cleaning and care.

by switching the tool ON unintentionally.
Before cleaning, pull out the mains plug.
Carry out the following once a week, or
more often if the device is used more fre-
quently:
Keep the contacts in the slip-on cable
socket clean.
Clean the venting openings.
Only dry-clean the electrical parts.
Make sure that no metal chips pene-
trate the battery-charger housing.

Service, testing and repairs may only be car-
ried out by electrical engineers in conformity
with the regulations valid in the respective
country.

ised service centres and agencies.

Hand over the operating instructions to
the repair workshop.

FEIN devices are guaranteed in accordance
with statutory and national regulations
(evidence of purchase by invoice or deliv-
ery note).
In addition to the legal warranty we also
provide the FEIN manufacturer's guaran-
tee. For further details on this, please con-
tact your specialist dealer, your national
FEIN representative, or the FEIN cus-
tomer service centre.
Damage due to improper handling, over-
loading or normal wear are generally not
covered by the guarantee.
Environmental protection.
Packaging, worn out devices and accesso-
ries should be recycled.
Do not open the battery!
Faulty batteries must be
recycled in accordance
with directive
91/157/EEC. Do not
throw batteries away in
the household waste,
into the fire or water.
FEIN provides environment-friendly bat-
tery disposal:
Faulty batteries are fully recycled. They
can be returned to the specialist dealer or
the FEIN customer service centre.
