Gas connection
Screw the hose fitting clockwise as show in the drawing opposite
The hose must be connected in accordance with the hose manufacturer's instructions, and in
compliance with the standarrds in force in the country concerned
Your FORGE ADOUR planche is configured to work with either Butane/Propane Gas or with
Natural Gas, depending on what you requested from your retailer on purchase.
The type of Gas to be used is written on the label on the side of your plancha
The Butane/Propane Gas hoses are equipped with different-sized fittings, and are identified
by different colours. To prevent any risk of damage to the plancha fiting, please refer to the
instructions provided by the hose manufacturer.
Connection of your plancha in the I3+ category (Butane/Propane) :
• Use an NF 28 mbar safety pressure relief valve for butane and NF 37 mbar for propane
• An NFD36-125 metallic hose or an XPD36-112 hose.
Connection of your plancha in the I2+ category (Natural Gas):
• For use with Natural Gas (G20/G25):
• Use an NFD36-121 metallic hose or an XPD36-103 hose.
The entire lenght of the rubber hose must be visible and easily accessible.
Comply with the safety instructions for use (e.g. use-by date, ect...) specified by the hose
manufactured. The hose must not be longer than 1.5 meters.
Each burner is fitted with a thermocouple safety device which cuts off the gas supply system
must be exclusively be carrried out by an autorized repairer. Any attempt to dismantle and
modify the appliance in order to change its technical characteristics may cause accidents
for which the manufacturer accepts no responsibility, and which will make the guarantee
null and void.
