Cleaning
WARNING: ALWAYS wear protective equipment including eye protection and gloves when
cleaning this tool .
• Keep your tool clean at all times. Dirt and dust will cause internal parts to wear quickly, and
shorten the device's service life
• Clean the body of your tool with a soft brush, or dry cloth
• Never use caustic agents to clean plastic parts. If dry cleaning is not sufficient, a mild detergent
on a damp cloth is recommended
• Water must never come into contact with the tool
• Ensure the tool is thoroughly dry before using it
• If available, use clean, dry, compressed air to blow through the ventilation holes (where
applicable)
Keep the tool oiled
IMPORTANT: Ensure air tools are kept clean and lubricated. Lubrication is essential to prevent
corrosion of internal parts, which could lead to tool failure .
• Contact your retailer for suitable air tool oil. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES USE NORMAL
ENGINE OIL
Every day, before use:
• With the tool disconnected from the air supply, pour the 1-2 drops of oil into the Quick Connector
(or air intake)
• Operate the tool briefly (e.g. 2-4 seconds) at low speed to lubricate all internal workings
Once a week:
• Wipe the body of the tool with a damp cloth. You can use a mild detergent or non-flammable
solvent
• Once clean, lubricate all moving parts with a light oil
Note: If the tool is in constant use or used for long periods at a time a combined filter/lubricator
must be fitted. There must be an air filter fitted at all times.
• Failure to comply with the operating and maintenance instructions may invalidate the guarantee
