i) A badly maintained or connected tool may have delayed firing. Water in the air supply, lack
of oil in the tool or air supply, plus worn parts can cause un-anticipated operation
j) Incorrect fasteners not designed or the incorrect size for your tool can cause operator
injury and damage to the tool
k) Do not load fasteners with trigger pulled or safety depressed
l) Be careful when firing fasteners into thin material or at the edge of material. The fasteners
may go straight through or miss the material and cause damage or injury to people nearby
m) Exceeding the maximum recommended air pressure can cause abnormal or unexpected
operation. Never connect to an air supply that could exceeds 200psi this will cause air tools to
fail catastrophically bursting seals and failures in other components
n) Do not attach the tool to a hose and the hose to a compressor with only threaded
connections. Always use quick connectors so the tool can be removed from the air supply
connection when needed for safe operation
o) Never fit a female Quick Connector directly to the leader hose/whip hose or directly to the
tool. The stored pressurised air even when detached from the main air supply can operate the
tool unexpectedly.

a) Doing maintenance and inspection
b) Making adjustment to the tool
c) Clearing a jam
d) If not in use
e) Leaving work area
f) Moving it to another location
g) Handing it to another operator

Intended Use

Powerful air framing nailer fires 50-90mm collated, clipped head nails. for roof framing, fencing,
decking and flooring.
Unpacking Your Product
• Carefully unpack and inspect your product. Fully familiarise yourself with all its features and
functions
• Ensure all parts of the product are present and in good condition. If any parts are missing or
damaged, have such parts replaced before attempting to use this product

Before Use

WARNING: Always disconnect the tool from the air supply before adjustment or maintenance
is carried out .
Recommended air supply
• This tool should be connected to a clean, dry air supply with inline oiler and water separator
• Do not allow supply pressure to exceed the maximum stated (see specification details)
• Ensure that all parts of the system (hoses, couplers, etc) are correctly rated for the air pressure
to be used
• If an automatic oiler (as per diagram below) is not used, pour two drops of air tool oil into the air
inlet of the quick connector before each use

• Dirty, wet air will rapidly corrode the internal working parts of this machine and will shorten its
working life significantly. Water collects in the compressor tank and will cause serious corrosion.
The tank must be drained on a daily basis to prevent water build-up in the air supply
Note: Some air tools have built-in regulators which are used to control speed/torque performance .
Where a tool does not have a built-in regulator, the speed/torque can still be adjusted by varying the
pressure on your air supply regulator.
Fitting the Quick Connector
• A ¼" Male BSP Bayonet Quick Connector (16) is supplied with this tool.
• Remove the rubber protective cap to Air Inlet (5) to fit the Quick Connector
• Applying PTFE tape to the screw threads will help to maintain an air tight seal.
• Screw the Quick Connector into the Air Inlet (5) (Fig. I)
• Tighten with a suitable spanner (not supplied)
• Air lines fitted with matching ¼" connectors will now couple with this tool
IMPORTANT: DO NOT overtighten the Quick Connector as this may damage the tool.
Checking the Safety Catch
WARNING: Ensure no nails or staples are loaded in the magazine before checking the Safety
Catch (9) .
WARNING: If the Safety Catch is faulty in any way DO NOT USE the tool.
• The Safety Catch (9) should move in and out freely with no obstruction
• Normal operation of the Safety Catch prevents the tool being fired without the Safety Catch
being depressed
• To test the Safety Catch is working correctly:
1. Connect the tool to the air supply using the ¼" Male BSP Bayonet Quick Connector (16)
2. Carefully push the Safety Catch against a piece of wood without pulling the Trigger (11) (Fig.
II). The tool must not fire. Should the tool fire it must be repaired before any further use
3. Hold the tool away from the piece of wood. The Safety Catch should return to its original
position
4. Pull the Trigger (Fig.III). The tool must not fire. Should the tool fire it must be repaired before
any further use
Adjusting the Exhaust
• The Exhaust (12) can be rotated to direct the flow of the exhaust gases (Fig. IV)
• The Exhaust should be positioned to direct the flow of exhaust gases away from the operator
Loading the magazine
• To load the magazine:
1. Slide the Magazine Latch (6) to the end of the magazine, until it locks into position (Fig. V)
2. Insert fasteners into the Magazine Loading Point (3) ensuring the points of the fasteners are
facing toward the workpiece
3. To release the Magazine Latch, slide the Latch towards the end of the magazine and
simultaneously press the Locking Lever (4) (Fig. VI)
4. Keep hold of the Magazine Latch and slide the Latch back up the magazine to load the
fasteners
